The Skimmer Lodge Edition
The Skimmer Lodge Edition is an extreme shallow water fishing skiff that has been designed specifically for the skinny water angler’s experience. It runs & drafts in just 5”. The transom is recessed in back so it does not squat, it has a patented air pressure tunnel vent system that dramatically improves performance & reduces cavitation as is common with other tunnel designs. Tunnel strakes reduce slide to a minimum. The modified V entry hull design along with large reverse chine’s contribute to a smooth dry ride. The beam is a full 84” with walk around gunnels making it a very stable fishing platform. Large casting deck forward & large fishing area aft makes room for multiple anglers. The Skimmer is built in either a 16 ft or 18 ft overall length. The 16 Skimmer is rated for a maximum of 50 hp with GPS speeds of 28 mph with a Suzuki 50 hp. The 18 Skimmer is rated for a maximum of 90 hp and has GPS speeds of 30 mph with a Suzuki 70hp 4 stroke & 36 mph with a Suzuki 90hp 4 stroke.
The Lodge Edition Skimmer features a low maintenance gel coat textured deck finish with polymer walk-on grid support hatch lids.

It’s interesting and fun to fish where others simply cannot. Go in the back waters and watch them look on with envy as my Morgan Skimmer 16 motors past others into really skinny water. I have very little balance and yet this boat allows me to walk around when I need to. I have not seen anything close to my Morgan Skimmer for skinny water. Nor a dealer as nice to work with. –Tom B.
When out on the water, you need a boat that can get you where the big fish live. Sometimes that place is the shallow flats in the lagoon. The Bossman Morgan 18 is my boat of choice to do just that. –Russell B.
